A great place to go for a nice casual walk and to enjoy a "secluded" beach area. Small parking lot can get full relatively quickly during the summer months. Short trail takes you to a comfortable sand beach in the middle of the St.Lawrence River.

Great beach, summer and winter. Because of the 15-20 minute hike from the parking lot, not nearly as busy as other sandy beaches around Lake Ontario. Nice big waves after a storm from the West. When the lake is frozen in winter, a whole different experience, but just as beautiful.

Worth the visit, but the mayflies were so thick mid-spring that you could hardly breathe without getting them in your nose/mouth.. try and avoid that season
